Discovering Spirituality - Episode 06 - Spiritual Being - Podcast Transcript

Hello and welcome to the Discovering Spirituality podcast. Episode 6: Spiritual Being. In this podcast I will be sharing my thoughts on the writing " Spiritual Being " taken from the channeled book "The light in Your Life is Spirit" by George A. Thompson. Atonement. We all make mistakes and if history is to judge us, we have continued to make mistakes despite the obvious lessons set before us. History, both personal and social should always be viewed as a guide to redemption, because should we take the time to truly think about our transgression we could learn valuable lessons and insights. But in order to make any significant changes we must act upon what we learn, so that we do not repeat the same mistakes or inadvertently copy negative behaviours from our peers. It is usually associated with the external, wealth, power and the satisfaction of desires. But when the fleeting success is over there is still a yearning for more and so the cycle continues.  This is in general, how society frames success and when all is said and done, what are you left with? Mores to the point what did you have? It's funny how the path of true meaning is at odds with the false meaning which is defined by society, in fact they are polar opposites.  When the individual succumbs to how society defines life's purpose it is clear that they are not thinking for themselves. To exist within a society there are certain responsibilities and frameworks. Most of the population live confined within these frameworks, which creates varying degrees of resentment that is tolerated by the po...
